Delivery & Returns

Please find our delivery information outlined below. We currently offer delivery options to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland only. When you place your order with us online you will be asked if you want to collect your goods or have them delivered.


Once we have received your order and the goods are in stock, we will endeavour to dispatch your order within 2 business days. We endeavour to dispatch your order the same day as receipt. Any delays or changes in filling your order will be notified to you within 24 hours of receipt of your order. If we are unable to deliver your order within 7 business days, you may cancel your order without charge and receive a full refund of any payment made. Delivery dates are estimates only. We do not accept liability for failure to deliver the goods within the times specified as a result of shipment delays from our suppliers.

Deliveries will be made by courier to the address stipulated in your order and only to an address within Ireland. Deliveries cannot be made to PO Boxes or a forwarding location.

You must advise us when you place your order of any difficulties that may exist in making the delivery such as restricted gated access, stairs or narrow entries. If you fail to do so and the courier deems it to be a difficult delivery location, you will be liable for any extra charges (imposed by the Couriers), including redelivery fees and the cost of an additional person to make the delivery.

You must ensure that someone is present to accept the delivery. If there is no-one present to accept delivery on the arranged date and time, your order will be returned to the Courier Warehouse.

Please note: You must inform us in writing within 24 hours of delivery if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can correct the problem. Photographic evidence is required with your correspondence if goods are damaged. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received in order.

Important: Certain items may require special delivery terms. Any items of exceptional volume, weight, or length or of a particular extraordinary nature (e.g., canoes, kayaks, chain, ropes, certain batteries, paint and solvents or dangerous goods) may attract a carriage surcharge or may be deemed unsuitable for shipping to your geographical location. In the event of a surcharge, we will always contact you in advance for approval, in the event of unsuitability we refund your order immediately and advise the cancellation of your order. 


If you choose to collect your goods, we will email you when your goods are ready and can be collected. Your order must be collected within seven days of this notice.

We reserve the right to allocate your goods to another customer and reorder the goods for you, if you do not collect them within this time.

You must bring your email receipt as proof of purchase when collecting your order. Opening Hours Hardware & Marine Supplies is open: 08:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 16:00 Saturdays and closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

Delivery Costs

Standard Delivery up to 30kg and up to 3.1metres to Southeast Ireland: €7.95
(Southeast Region: Wexford, Waterford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Tipperary)          

Standard Delivery up to 30kg and up to 3.1 metres to Rest of Ireland including Northern Ireland: €12.50

Non-Standard item delivery for bulky or heavy items per pallet:
Zone 1 - €55
Zone 2 - €68.50
Zone 3 - €76.50
Zone 4 - €89.50

All of Ireland including Northern Ireland:
Free Delivery for orders over €100 for standard delivery items only.

Order Tracking

After we have dispatched your order, our courier will contact you via email, regarding delivery updates and options to track your delivery. If you do not receive this email or have any issues with tracking your order, please email us at or call us on 053 91 29791. We aim to respond to all emails in a timely manner within our working hours. Our shop is open from 8:30am-17:00pm Monday to Friday, 8:30am-16:00pm Saturday. Please include your Order Reference number for a quick response


When you purchase goods online, you can return those goods unopened up to 7 days after receiving your order. You must email us to informing us that you wish to return your order and please reference your order number in all correspondence. Please note that customised goods or special orders cannot be returned.

Goods are returned at your own cost and risk, and must be returned in their original unopened packaging, securely wrapped and packaged and you must include the original delivery document.

Once the goods have been returned to us in their original packaging and in perfect condition, we will refund the purchase price of the returned goods excluding our original delivery costs.
